W. Eugene Smith, is considered by many to be one of photography’s legendary figures. Without a doubt, he is one of the worlds greatest photojournalists, if not the greatest. He is widely known for his refusal to abide by customary photography conventions and his grotesque World War 2 images. His legacy lives on through his images, and his many photo essays depicting social realism.
